    I always thought that when the reunion happened after the friend died, old hookups would happen…. Thankfully I’ve avoided seeing that…( still a very poignant film but not very diverse).

    St. Elmo’s Fire? I was living it, a waiter waiting to start law school in the fall and friends with white nostrils.

    I still never have heard of a school having an all-day detention on a weekend.

    I’d imagine some teacher unions would have an objection. Not to mention kids who have jobs on the weekends.
