Funny how Silver is all about the numbers and nothing more and says that people shouldn’t get mad at him if they don’t like the numbers. Then he becomes Mr. Editorial when it’s time to criticize Biden or Harris.

I’m enjoying the MAGA tears right now.

The same Alternate Facts party is now whining that the President went back on his word. Never mind that Trump and MAGAs literally lie multiple times more. Vance literally said he would make up stories to get attention.

Fuck ‘em. Glad Hunter got his pardon.

Of course he is -- I've been saying that in various permutations since 2015.

But he'll use the fact that Biden has pardoned Hunter as his primary whining point to justify it. And the right wing screech machine will pick it up and run with it.

Hey Joe, take the Republican approach.

"Yeah, I did it, so what? Go fuck yourselves."

In Slow Horses parlance, the GOP plays by Moscow Rules and it’s totally fine. The Democrats have to play by London Rules and get excoriated if they don’t.

The nomination of Kash Patel doesn't set well, at all, according The Atlantic, which had a very good read comparing him to other administrations' FBI directors. It says outright that Trump is trashing every law-related bureau in the government, integrity be damned.

A Constitutional Crisis Greater Than Watergate

And this guy, Mike Davis, plans to make sure Patel's nomination goes through. The threats continue, even against their own party. It's just sickening how this is clearly going to be the MO for Trump, his people, and, by extension, our country, for the next four years (at least).

Very quickly after Jan. 20 the god emperor will
assert that his reading of the constitution says that the incoming president has complete authority to revoke any pardons awarded by previous presidents.

    Wonder what SCOTUS will say??

Yeah but when Trump pardons his son in law’s father and then makes him ambassador to France that’s totally ok

My knowledge of diplomatic appointments in limited to the West Wing, but is France obligated to accept this criminal as the US ambassador?

I remember President Bartlett having to accept ambassadors who were presented to him for approval.
