Speaking of, I was an 11-year-old mass murderer in Roller Coaster Tycoon. Building coasters with impossible angles, dropping people straight into lakes…

 

Everybody gets bored running a straight-up theme park after a while on that game and turns to the dark side.

I usually tried to correct any design that ended in a body count, but I did take a certain perverse pleasure in creating a sea of vomit outside the exit of some ride I engineered to weed out astronaut trainees. I just hired more of the janitor dudes who looked like the cartoon from TV’s Bloopers & Practical Jokes.

 

What a game.

I still don’t know how something so involved and personalizable ran on those computers. I understand it’s an endless series of loops, but my computer and disk drive would make disturbing sounds and get to unsafe temperatures after about seven hours.

 

Again, I know more about this guy in a week than I do about Trump's assassin** in six months.

Wonder why......

 

Because this guy is both older, therefore more history, and the other is dead? A pretty complete picture of the latter as the classic school shooter loser was given in the week or so following the assassination attempt.

It's a FREAKING "OP-ED!!!!" Honestly are people so dumb they don't even want to hear the arguments of "the other side?" I do listen to righty radio regularly, just so I know what their arguments are, it helps me understand where they are coming from. You don't have to agree with it, it might be total BS, but at least you know how the "other side" justifies thinking the way they do. Instead of just being outraged. Marketplace of ideas. You need to keep the conversation going.

 

UnitedHealth refused to respond to ProPublica inquires about a story they're denying care to autistic patients on the grounds "we're in mourning here." And this guy publishes an op-ed defending the outfit? Fuck him.
