The Islanders are circling the drain in ever-more nihilistic fashion. It's not enough to just blow another third-period lead, they've got to give up two goals to Wilson--now almost a decade removed from ending Lubomir Visnovsky's career--in the process.

 

Jalen Duren sent spinning to Bustville that night. Couldn't build anything up for the next few weeks, but finally caught fire again last weekend.

Hit an $80 win on an NBA parlay last Friday, then doubled it on Georgetown the next day. Then Duren screwed me again on another double-double bet -- done with him -- so I went all-in for my last 200 on Towsen/Irvine hoops under 128½. Main reason -- Irvine had defeated Kent 51-39 the day before and both it and Towsen had hit only one over on the season up to that time. Still have. Hit the under by a point-and-a-half. WHEW!

Came back Sunday with three different TD scorer props at plus money and doubled one of the winning bets on another Georgetown win. Sad thing, I canceled that out with an Evan Mobley double-double bet; he missed it by a point. Capped off the night with Washington State +10½ in a game they led handily pretty much start to finish.

So I'm back up to 950 and change and decide to follow some guy's Day 6 ladder pick. for a $250 bet. But, oopsie, I put in a wrong guy for one of the legs. Lucky me, though, it went like I replaced it with Folger's crystals, as my guy made the mark and his didn't. So now I'm up over 1,100.

Don't know when I'm going to be able to suck it up and press that submit button on a bigger bet, but I'm looking at either (or both?) the Magic/76ers over or a Gobert double-double tonight for a couple hundred. Maybe go for the Magic/76ers and double on Gobert if the former wins? That would be a nice profit for the day.

Actually was on the Magic/76ers under, not the over, and I made it by 1.5. Last 8 seconds sent my head spinning.

Been up and down since my last post, settled in at 700 right now. Was gonna take your Army/Navy advice but thought the game started later. It was 7-0 by the time I logged in and I kept waiting for the total to go up but I didn’t see it higher than 42.5 in the first half. So I looked elsewhere. Good thing, it looks like.

Got $100 in bonus bets from Fanatics after buying some Christmas gifts from MLB dot com. Figure it's a good way to reset heading into the NFL playoffs. Of course I went 1-for-3 tonight so the $100 may not make it to January!

 

I hedged the blackhawks just in time. They tied it.
