Go to pro-football reference and look at the passing stats.. Mahomes has five fourth quarter comebacks and seven game-winning drives. That leads the league in both categories by a lot (at 4 and 4, Goff is the only one close). That is not a QB in decline.

They gave up 48 points yesterday, so it's fair to say that point has arrived. I know the Bills' offense i rolling, but still, 48 points.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor botches sure TD against Broncos, fumbles on intentional drop short of goal line

With a win yesterday, the Colts could have put themselves in a decent position to make the playoffs. They had a lead at halftime, but Jonathan Taylor started his celebration a little early on what should have been a touchdown run. They also had a receiver throwing the ball back across the field that was picked off for a touchdown. I think that one was ultimately ruled a fumble, but either way, the Colts put on quite a display of stupid in their loss to the Broncos. I'm certainly not complaining. Combined with the Dolphins' loss earlier in the day, that put the Steelers in the playoffs despite their stinker against the Eagles. :)

Guess they’ll have to turn down the Independence Bowl.

Looking forward to this week's edition of, "You casuals need to watch the tape because Anthony Richardson is so much better than the numbers would have you believe."

Not saying Mahomes and the Chiefs are in that category, but those stats are sometimes a symptom of a team playing with its food for three quarters or a mediocre team and/or QB that consistently finds itself trailing most of the game.

High on the career list of "most game winning drives" are the likes of Matthew Stafford (5th), Matt Ryan (7th), Derek Carr (13th) and Carson Palmer (13th).

Andy Dalton (29, T24th) ranks ahead of Joe Montana (28) and Jim Kelly (28).

Montana at 24th on that list is wild.

True. His legend was built on his success rate rather than a strict total of comebacks, I suppose.
