Maybe, but @MileHigh has a point. It isn't all that difficult to vote now. Also, the Republicans are in control and they want to keep it that way, so they won't allow it to be made easier.

Spoken like someone who is a little too fond of the party of voter suppression.

I mean sure, Donald Trump is going to hand out pardons to the Proud Boys who showed up in tactical gear to storm the capital on January 6th because they were tricked by the deep state who made them do it, but did you hear that one time Hillary called those people "deplorable?"

The GOP is right - Dems are a bunch of marxist, communist, facist, pedophile groomers who are going to turn your kid gay and you're going to send your son to school one day and he's going to come home with his nuts chopped off.

Look, man, I dunno what your theory is. Bad people voted for the bad man?

My "theory" is that you, an alleged Democrat, hold the GOP and Democrats to completely different standards.

    Common occurrence since 1968.

    Here are my rigid standards:

    1. Don't nominate a mentally and physically failing octogenarian for the presidency.
    2. Don't have as his vice president someone who, if he/she had to campaign on his/her own and go through the primary process would finish in the bottom 25% of candidates.

"He's not Trump" worked once. In hindsight it would have been better had it not worked and we'd be through this mess.

That thought occurs to me from time to time. But then I remember that if Trump had won in 2020, he’d have been in charge when the vaccines were rolled out. And that thought terrifies me.

It's hard to believe we are (or, some of us are, anyway) still parsing the word "deplorable" as if it wasn't clear, then and now, exactly who she was talking about.

Hey, he was pro-vaccine before he realized the tide of his kind of people was turning against it. No telling how it works out if he's president at that time. Maybe his support of them slows some of the turn of the insane, but I think the vaccine thing took on a life of its own that superseded even Trump's ability to direct the flow of anger.
