The only reason I was able to read that whole thing (Seriously I think it took me a half-hour and I read fast) is because I am trapped in a repair shop lobby for God knows how long. Ragu would struggle to write something a third of that length. After diving in and devoting every ounce of attention span I could muster, I looked over at the scroll bar and found I was halfway down the page. I do not recommend reading without a sack lunch at hand.

    But he ain’t wrong.

Someone has to write the definitive book on the Trump nightmare era. But what should be the opening in media res passage?

    Perhaps:

He abruptly stopped taking questions at his town hall in suburban Oaks, Pennsylvania. Several of his most rabid supporters had fainted do to the fetid atmosphere. But, Trump didn't wrap up his town hall with South Dakota governor Kristi Noem.

Instead, he silently swayed on stage for 40 minutes to songs from his favorite playlist: a bizarre mix of maudlin show tunes and 70s gay-themed disco hits.

Less than a month later, Trump won reelection. After deadly mishandling of COVID, and aattempted coup, dozens of felony convictions and a sexual abuse and defamation ruling against him.

Isn’t insane and an anti-vaxer redundant? Anti-vaxers are by definition mentally defective.

If the pharmacy benefit managers are identified publicly, IMO they'd possibly be more at risk of what happened to the CEO in New York.

You know what the drug does and its addictive qualities. You know what's going on among the public. And you take money to keep the spigots open and the pills flowing, while helping the big companies thrive and harming independent pharmacies.

Honestly, I'm not surprised about much of anything these days. These middlemen probably should have a hamstring sliced before being thrown into a pen of hungry feral hogs. But likely nothing will happen to them, unless some prosecutors decide to go after them or some citizen takes matters into his own hands.

I'm super-anti-privatization. As a... a source close to Royal Mail... I've seen how doing it in Britain has gone off with the rails, even after the government took over most of the pension commitments.

Oh, I print stuff that length to read. I’m re-reading Dostoyevsky right now, so everything is brief in comparison.

Why do you hate shareholder value so much?

Tampering with witnesses and evidence are not real crimes.
