Pulled the trigger on Notre Dame/IU tix for me and my IU sophomore daughter. I hope it's not the biggest game of her college life but the basketball team isn't going to a Final Four under Mike Woodson and IU football's not under the radar anymore. And I'll cross Notre Dame Stadium off the bucket list. Now I gotta go find my Long Johns.

It'll all start crashing down on Saturday, but since June 1, the Tennessee baseball, football, men's basketball and women's basketball teams have gone a combined 37-4.

(and they had a swimmer set a world record yesterday)

The FCS may have finally gotten it right. Championship game will be played on Monday night 1/6. No MNF that week, but people accustomed to tuning into ESPN to see MNF in that slot will get the title game instead. So much better than when it was buried on a Sunday afternoon going up against the NFL.

But the semis this weekend are getting buried going against the NFL and the CFP.

True, but there's no real choice there, unless you want to push them both to Friday. The semis are at least on ABC as a lead-in to the Tennessee-Ohio State. Probably as good as you're going to get.

Florida's Pyburn headed to LSU. Can't find the tweet with his NIL demands.

WSU QB John Mateer into the portal. He might be the best QB on the move.

I believe his demands included a guaranteed starting spot and playing on third down.

I don't think economics is a very strong major at Texas A&M.

Ohio State sent Tennessee their 3,500 ticket allotment, but then they released a code that Ohio State season ticket holders could use to buy tickets to the playoff game. Predictably, the code got out and as a result UT fans have bought a ton of them, as well as ticket brokers buying them for the secondary market. It will be a much more mixed crowd than OSU intended.

Meanwhile, the get in price for PSU-SMU isn't as obnoxious as I expected it to be.
