Sure, let's play more games, put more miles on players and then bitch when they need a night off. Is Manfred thinking this shit up?

The games are all first-to-score-40. That’s less than a quarter of a typical All Star game.

They scoring by ones like we did in pickup games where every basket was worth one point, win by two?

I assume it’s standard scoring. Can’t imagine they would eliminate the three pointer for the All Star game. (Would love that, though.)

I wasn’t really being serious, but maybe I should have used the robin’s egg font.

To my chagrin I will be home alone Christmas Day. Are any of the games worth giving a look?

That was a fun Knicks-Spurs game. Crazy that Wemby is basically a 3 point shooter now.

I watched the first half of Knicks-Spurs on the Disney+ Dunk the Halls broadcast. I was partly curious to see how they do it and also curious to see if my boys - 7 and 4 - would take to it at all. They're used to me watching hoops and will flit in and out, but do pay some attention on a normal broadcast.

After a couple of minutes of the animated broadcast for the actual on court action, they both bailed. Just thought it was an interesting anecdote.

Luka must be built out of balsa wood. Without him the Mavericks are very average.

Sixers go up 14, choke it away as the C's go up 5 or 6.

Sixers go up 14 again, about to choke it away, again.

Try as they may to give it away, the Sixers held on to win 118-114.
