Speaker Johnson's Continuing Resolution to fund the government is being defeated by Elon Musk, while Trump sits it out.

That was aimed at Trump and his voters, not you. I could have worded it better.

Now that he’s vetoed the spending bill, will President Musk be offering an alternative?

The destruction of our country, according to the way Elon Musk says it should be, continues apace. He can afford whatever happens/whatever he and the Billionaire Boosters Club want to do, unlike most people. Musk wasn't even elected to anything, but it's obvious what's going to go on in this sick charade of a Presidency.

    MSN

In a manic posting spree on Wednesday, the world's richest man bombarded his platform X, formerly Twitter, with attacks on a proposed funding bill, which would've kept the government funded through March 14 and had bipartisan support. He also amplified misinformation about what's in the 1,500-page bill - as did his non-governmental commission, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is recommending cuts to government spending and regulations to the incoming Trump administration.

This country is in so much trouble. Trump voters have, literally, voted for people who have no connection to the common man to run/ruin our lives.

And the worst thing about it all? He owns X (formerly Twitter) and "also amplified misinformation." Think how much that's going to happen. The press and citizenry will hear/know nothing that Trump and Musk, et al, don't want. As shown by the shutdown of this funding, we can't possibly have BIPARTISON support of anything!

Not only do we have to deal with the horrors of Trump returning to the White House, but now he's got his Twitter tech goon villain too. Thanks, again eggheads!
