Land Man ... any thoughts?

I've seen three episodes so far ...
    1. Billy Bob Thornton is as funny as I've seen him. The writers have taken advantage of his cynicism and added some Texas smartass. To me, every line has been gold. (to his daughter, about his ex-wife, played by Ali Larter, "if your mother had lost the ability to talk we'd still be married.")
    2. Larter is hot as hell at 48. I'm sure cosmetic surgery had something to do with it but in E3 we got some solid T&A.
    3. The show appears to be doing for the oil business -- the roughneck, in the fields part of it -- what Yellowstone has done for ranching. In other words, trying to show how it's done, and how unglamorous it all really is, but the people who do it can't imagine doing anything else.

Ali Larter should get an 80 game suspension from Rob Manfred

If he doesn’t come in me he can come on me wherever he wants was definitely not what a dad wants to hear from his daughter.

I really like it, especially some of the ancillary characters so far... The son's character feels a bit rushed for me, though. I can't wait to see more Hamm and Demi Moore, though. I also concur with Ali Larter, even with her after-markets.

Yeah, I'm likin' it too. And yeah, you're right about the son.

There was no rhyme nor reason about how he hooked up with that sister of his co-worker.

I was talking about the show with a friend's wife. She said as the father of daughters, he could not watch that scene.

My face might have turned red just watching it.

The daughter is also 27 or 28 in real life and basically she is walking around with a sign saying “ogle my body”. She’s obviously very attractive, but it’s kind of creepy.

That being said, Billy Bob being both competent and pissed off at all of the idiots in his life is a perfect role.
