49ers being out of the playoffs leads to a lot of questions in the offseason. That window Is fast closing and a decision on Purdy will soon be at hand. Say the choice would be to keep Purdy at a slightly lower rate than what market value currently is for QBs (say $45-48M annually) or try to get Sam Darnold on a Mayfield-type contract and put Purdy on the market expecting someone to overbid on him, which way would they go?

Vikings are just about to get to 13-2 with another strong game from Sam Darnold. At what point does Minnesota say “we found our QB, and it’s not J.J. McCarthy”?

    They had Darnold last season.

Pedestrian running back? Might want to look at what Connor’s has done.

Exactly. They know him, he knows the offense, he's succeeded in a fairly similar offense in Minnesota. He was brought in to be a backup last season and did a good job. Would they pursue him at a sightly cheaper option over Purdy?

After its offensive line, the biggest letdown for Seattle this season is the so-called 12s and the supposed home field advantage they provide.

Seahawks just finished 3-6 at home, with one of those losses to an awful Giants team. That’s the one that will cost them a playoff spot.

Refs doing their best to keep the Patriots alive. BS personal foul, uncalled false start, bogus 3rd-down PI.

Raiders dropped from no 1 pick to no 6 with that win

The winning TD to Jefferson is all I need to see that Darnold is the Vikes' guy. They're good.

But QBs these days get hurt every 4th play so no need to move JJ. He's a kid. He can hold a clipboard and learn awhile.

Still trying to figure out how Washington beat the best defense in the league after turning it over five times. Daniels is dat dude, man. Just hope the Commanders can take care of business against Atlanta next Sunday night. Start Mariota at Dallas and get JD fresh for the wild card game.
