Nothing compared to Bishop Sycamore, of course.

It's different than it was w/the Patriots, but the end result is the same: I have hit the "tired of seeing them win" phase with the Chiefs.

Almost 60 years between the last 31-2 game, feels like an honorary scorigami.

I'm not there yet because I'm fascinated by how they have basically walked a tightrope since the Divsional round last season. Their ability to mix and match lineups and figure out every way possible to squeeze out victories is pretty remarkable. The Patriots, as good as they were, did so much foul shit during their run that it took away from what the players accomplished.

I agree and I don't loathe the Chiefs. But--and everyone's mileage here may vary--they don't FEEL like a team that should author the first three-peat of the Super Bowl era. The '88-'89-'90 49ers and '92-'93-'94-'95 Cowboys felt like all-time great teams. The Chiefs feel like an all-time great QB, a very good HC and a bunch of randos. And I get that's how the game has "progressed" and that a 49ers-/Cowboys-esque dynasty isn't going to happen these days. But I'd still rather see a three-peat authored by a team that could stand with the best of all-time.

For sure Mahomes, Kelce and Pacheco won't play. Worthy and Brown probably. On defense, Chris Jones won't play, and any other starters who are nicked up won't go.

Time to get healed up for the games that matter.

I wouldn't call Kelce a rando. He's one of the best ever at tight end, a peer with Gonzalez and Gronk.

Even in a "down" year, Kelce has more than 800 yards receiving and nearly 90 catches. For any other TE in the league, that's a great year, maybe a career year.

Fuck him and his girlfriend they both suck MAGAAAAAA. :D Definitely not a rando, my description is impacted by his decline this year.

I gut the Chiefs fatigue. It's natural. But to say they're not an all-time great team like the 49ers and Cowboys is just wrong. They've played in four out of the last five Supes and won three.

The 49ers had Montana, Rice and salary cap shenanigans. The Cowboys had Emmitt and a dominant offensive line, plus dickhead Irvin. I'd talk my chances with the Chiefs against either of them.

I wear rose-colored glasses. I am not John Conley.

Honestly, if we're using the 1980s rule book the 49ers would probably demolish the Chiefs just because they will knock Travis Kelce out of the game in the first quarter.

The Chiefs also have a top 5 defense this season and don’t rely totally on the offense to bail rhem out.
