The Bengals tried so hard to give the game away last night, so this all seems appropriate.

Here’s the thing: They’re not. It’s just something people say because they heard someone else say it.

Front offices make their mind up about you long before you face Buffalo’s back-ups in Week 18. Just like Mayo was fired before he hit the field.

If you’re evaluating on one game, you’re really bad at your job. They saw you in college, in practice, in games for a year. Their mind is made up.

I acknowledge players and teams have pride. That’s good and why New England won today.

They probably should’ve run the ball into the middle of the line a few more times like Cleveland did on Saturday.

Too many people here have NBA brain.

NFL players don't GAF about draft position. So they aren't tanking. So they are playing hard. And trying to win.

Two years ago, the Texans had a lame duck coach and did EVERYTHING to win a week 18 game. A last second td. A converted 2 pointer. It removed them from the #1 draft position. So it got them C.J. Stroud, instead of Bryce Young.

I nerd out too hard about this shit.

Whoever the fuck plays Houston is the 430 Saturday game. And Denver-Buffalo seems destined for 1 pm Sunday. All to say that I think the Commies are going to get a night game. NFC Central runner up is the 430 Sunday game.

They are playing for their jobs, whether it’s for their current team or someone else. They want to put up as much good film/tape/whatever they’re calling it now as they can. Not all decisions are already made, but even if they are, players want the rest of the league to see them doing positive things.
