My limited experience with people, male and female, in television leads me to believe that there are few sane people in that industry period and even less in radio.

I always figured he was just a lonely but harmless weirdo every since that Washington Post article in which the big takeaway was he ordered a week's worth of Chinese food every Sunday night to eat alone in his Bristol hotel room. Alas.

I ordered two days' worth of Papa John's on Christmas Eve because everything was going to be closed and I didn't feel like going to the supermarket for TV dinners.

TV people (news or otherwise) are some of the most F’d people out there. Myself included.

However, I have never thought about getting involved with anyone at work. Not once.

And I’m someone who has a zest for living.

I'm so accustomed to hearing these sort of allegations, I'm barely disgusted by them these days.

I AM disgusted by those who are screeching that it's the hairdresser's fault for causing "drama" or whatever. Good Lord, please do not let these people ever be in the position to hire/fire others ... and while you're at it please do not let them be fathers of girls, or at least put decent men in their daughters' lives, so they'll have strong role models.

And now might be the time for the women at Fox Sports who have equity and empathy to speak up. Damn right it takes guts to put your own career and brand on the line, but if not now, when? Forget about Skip, this section alone sends shivers:

Dixon fires female talent member for refusing to have sex with him
Later in Faraji’s tenure at Fox, a female talent member (who remains anonymous in the lawsuit) was allegedly fired for refusing to have sex with Dixon.

“Anonymous told Ms. Faraji that she would no longer be with Fox as Mr. Dixon told her that she would need to have sex with him if she wanted to renew her contract, but she had refused. Anonymous further conveyed that: (i) Mr. Dixon was doing this to other women talent; (ii) she should warn Ms. Taylor to be careful; and (iii) a talk show host had recently reported Mr. Dixon.

“Ms. Faraji called Ms. Taylor to convey what Anonymous had stated. Ms. Taylor responded that “no one gives a f***” about Anonymous or the talk show host who had reported Mr. Dixon. Ms. Faraji later observed that Ms. Taylor’s remark appeared accurate, as no actions were taken to address the concerns raised. If it was not already apparent, it became even more clear that Fox enabled high-ranking individuals to abuse their authority, exerting undue control over female talent and employees.”

In the aftermath of the Roger Ailes Fox News debacle, it wasn't lost on me that there were, and I'm sure still are, people there who were preyed upon, and gave in to pressure to have sex with senior executives to advance their careers. And they don't come forward because they think it would diminish their reputation.

Hell, I don't know how many times I gave in to Gannett editors sweet talking me into working some free overtime thinking it would be good for my career. I never sued. No judgement.
