President Trump 2.0: The NEW one and only politics thread

Biden's inability to do the job after the 2022 mid-terms. Ignored. By almost everyone. Full-court press coverage on Trump and Stormy Daniels, part whatever. Blithe cluelessness on Biden. The least amount of leaks of any administration ever! Eh. People knew, and didn't report. Wasn't the cool thing to do. Just like Newsweek sat on Clinton/Lewinsky.
The cools! Rolling out the greatest hits!

And it's also lazy that you try to frame an issue with the false premise and starting point that Biden's age and ability were somehow not reported. JFC. It was covered extensively. It was a daily talking point.

And is there some universe when the election interference trial of a former president paying off a porn star isn't going to be covered extensively? Hell, even Fox had to cover it.

1. If sources aren't willing to talk, or the ones who are willing aren't actually in the know or in the room, you can't report something that sensitive without detail and context.

2. A former president/current presidential candidate being investigated/sued/prosecuted is significant news and deserves ample coverage.

Doing due diligence about sensitive information isn't having a liberal bias. It's good journalism.

Don't forget student loan forgiveness is way worse than gorging yourself on tax dollars via Secret Service room rates at the hotel you own.

Well, I don't think that's what it was, but whatever. We disagree. That's not a new development for me here.

No liberal bias, no left lean, totally politically neutral, hell your standard metro newsroom leans right. Yep. A bunch of young Republicans, right out of academia, which also leans right.

I watched a few minutes of the thing going on at Capital One Arena, and it was a few minutes more than I should have watched. The only thing in which I can take heart is that he really doesn't sound healthy.

My step-grandmother lost seven siblings and I don't know how many other family members in the Holocaust. No word yet from my MAGA cousins, who also love Elmo, on today's salute.
