last year was 14.82 million on TNT.

Back to CBS was going to be a bigger number anyway but let's up it's a real big number and they move it up to 8:30 p.m.

IDK, any new team to the Big 18, Big 12 or SEC that makes it this year probably would have made it last year in their old Power Conference. There are just as many P4/Big East teams this year as there were P5/Big East teams last year. They're just arranged differently.

The bigger issue is mid-majors are getting shut out, no matter the size of the superconferences. If you're a low major, you have absolutely no hope if you don't win your conference tournament.

IMHO, I think this might apply to Gonzaga this year. They’re scuffling even in some conference games.

Which is more stunning, St. John’s up 23-3 at the under-12 timeout or Rick Pitino in a quarter-zip?

As I watch Pitt take down UNC I sit here wondering how much longer they put up with Hubert.

    Several years.
He beats Duke regularly. That’s all they care about.

He's lived about as long as he can off the glow of the two epic Duke wins in 2022.

What will get him one more season is the recruiting class he has coming in. That is assuming this slide doesn't get worse and they finish the season above .500.

FWIW, I love the man and am perfectly content with the team's performance under him. But my fellow alumni are not as reasonable. They will point out that - should this season pan out as it looks like it will - he has missed the tournament in two out of four seasons and in both of those he had at least one player expected to contend for national player of the year (Bacot in 22-23 and Davis in 24-25).

Only wound up a 13-point victory.

I had it on with sound muted. I looked up and saw the score and wondered if I was crazy to think it had been close.
