It's not just a funny graphic anymore. Meridian's fixing to take it.

In other news, we're having a whale of a West Texas dust storm. Only problem is, this is North Texas.

Definitely looks like shit was getting real in Missouri. Have some relatives who were directly in the line of fire of the storm that hit West Plains. They’re OK. Hoping the same for any of you in the St. Louis area.

My buddy’s house got hit by a tornado last night. It’s still standing but kinda fucked up. The giant trees around are splinters.

They sheltered in the basement when it hit, and all are safe. They are in Rolla, Mo.

I’ll take on any hurricane before I consider a tornado. Terrifying.

Well, at least we've got a full staff of qualified people at NOAA and the NWS to warn us of such things.

Wind has been howling today but no rain yet. That’s not good.

Good news for us is that we somehow threaded the needle. Storms were north and west, and south and east of us, but we somehow stayed in a small corridor of relative calm between the two.
Got some rain and thunderstorms, but nothing too bad. Only one tornado warning for our county and it was 20 miles away.

Bad news is, it's not over for everyone else yet. Alabama is on the clock.
