    The Zambrano injury reminds of Angels spring training 1999, when Gary DiSarcina was walking to the batting cage to get some swings in and he went right by hitting coach George Hendrick as he was hitting fungos. Hendrick got DiSar in the elbow on the follow-through, which took him out for the next few weeks. It was the first indication that an Angels season that held some promise was about to go down the shitter.
