    I'm guessing one of those papers might be a shop with which Spnited is uh, familiar, given the assertiveness of his post? Am I barking up the wrong tree spnited?

    Hmmm ... Joseph Goodman has written eight stories this week, all from the summer league in Orlando, writing about the Heat.

    And that's 120 percent accurate.
     
  7. goodman's awfully young. done some good stuff, done some rough stuff.

    if he gets the job, it's because of budget.

    as in: sarah rothschild.

    decent enough writer, i guess, if that's what you want.

    bottom line, though, is this: the herald is going the Young Cheap Route these days.

    and, no, i don't work there. but my buddy sure does............and not much longer, at that.

    by the way, if you ever interview with the miami herald's sports editor, don't call him HOR-hay. he goes by george. just a heads up.
