we now have two sports designer positions open.
We've been working on filling the first one opening and are hopeful to interview a few candidates very soon.
Now, our lead designer (who was here for nine years) is taking a step up and is headed to the Virginian-Pilot, a pretty damn good newspaper.
We're obviously looking to fill both positions quickly.

    send materials to ...

The gentleman who just left, I believe, was also their assistant sports editor. He is one hell of a designer. He'll do a great job at the Pilot.

The paper is actually operating w/o an official ASE. Joe Kacik was the lead designer, although in the past he's served officially as the ASE, as well as acting SE.
He did a great job in Myrtle Beach, and it was only a matter of time before a bigger shop picked him up.

We're talking real world here. Football season starts in a few weeks and it's gonna get pretty busy.
We'll be plowing through more resumes today and making calls in the next few days.
