    What's interesting is... (Sorry if it's already been brought up - I'm too lazy to read the entire thread) ... AOL and SI have the same parent. If AOL Sports is trying to beef up it's sports coverage, wouldn't that (ostensibly) take hits from SI.com?

    AOL/Time Warner. One of those b.s. "synergistic" mega-mergers that just didn't work out, did it?

    Can't see how it would...AOL is just there, you hop around on it while you check your email. SI is a destination. People don't have to choose one exclusively.

    That after they shitcanned probably 40% of their staff within the last few years. Selfishly, it just didn't happen in time to bounce enough of their good softball players off a team that bounced mine in the playoffs. 7-0 leads meant shit when your bats run cold after the second inning.

    But in all seriousness, if they're hiring more people then good.

    Being an AOL man myself, it's good to see his mug on the home page when I log-on.
    His take today on Stu Scott's MNF patronizing of Jay-Z is dead-on.
    Stu's hip-hop crap is disgusting. To me, anyway.
