The fact that you were in a live Neyer chat says all I need to know.
Did he break down the sabermetrics of World Series rainouts?

Yeah, what a dumbass. I mean, Fox has gone to news and I'm 30 minutes from deadline. What am I thinking going to a live ESPN.com baseball chat looking for updated information?

The only thing I saw non-rainout related was a discussion of the greatness of Joe Mauer and how poorly Jose Reyes played in the postseason.

It was a Game 7 for the pennant and the score was tied heading into the ninth inning. It included a go-ahead home run in the top of the final inning and a bases loaded, two-out situation with one of the best hitters in the league in the bottom of the final inning.

It was a better game than many on your list because there was more at stake. The season was on the line for both teams. The only games I'd put above it are Game 7 of the 2001 World Series and Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS.

If they get rained out again today I wonder if they'd think about it.

LaRussa should pull Suppan, he doesn't have it tonight. Save him for Game 6 or 7 if he needs. Do it now because the Tigers are hitting him.

Now THIS is the Suppan I remember from his KC days. I knew the NLCS Suppan was just an illusion.

It's too late if LaRussa doesn't make the move now. Rush a long guy into service or this one will be over in the 4th or 5th.

Well, he was until he had to field a a bunt and make a play.
Now he'll just become the LP.

    EDIT: Never mind

The team that was on the verge of the greatest collapse ever is one win away from becoming the crappiest team to ever win the World Series. (well, record wise at least)

Too bad the Mets are chokers!!! This could be them MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!

How is Fox able to fit both Girardi and Kevin Kennedy, two of the two biggest egomaniacs in the game, in the same shot? That's some fancy camerawork.
