    Hey Eyen Stine,

You might wish to check your facts.
    2005 USC/ND: 30 million
OSU's Mulligan of the Century was 21 million.

You might want to do better than to believe
a sports writer and/or his editor.

Lord knows that only a few of us truly work
at our craft. The rest of us are of your ilk.

I get the feeling this is not the real Jimmy Olson.

Unless they just hid his bat-shit crazy side in the comic book.

Holy shit, this is funny. It "only" drew a 13.4 rating?

In other news, the last episode of M*A*S*H remains the biggest ratings disaster in history, followed closely by the "Who shot J.R.?" episode of Dallas.

There's a difference between thought provoking and reactionary....
So go back to ND Nation, fanboy...

Ratings were low because everyone was at the Lupica book signing.

It's not anger at all for me. It's more like a humorous diverson from the daily routine to see another ND fanboy/worshiper/moron whine that not all of the nation bows to the greatness that is Notre Dame.

    Well, that WAS Notre Dame.

JO, serious question. Were you born yet the last time the Irish won a bowl game or were relevant to the college football landscape?

This game was the second highest watched game of the weekend, ahead of Denver-San Diego and only trailing Dallas-Indy.

Are you really that big a fool? Or just pissed that ND-Army only drew a 1.6, possibly the Irish's lowest ever rating on NBC according to Hiestand.

  8. Wait, Notre Dame was on TV last week?

No, because they were watching Ottawa and Saskatchewan play in the national semi-finals for the Canadian University football championship. :)

Color me crazy ... but first thought I had when I heard 13.4 was that it seemed pretty low for such a hyped game.

3:30 vs. prime time must mean a lot more than I thought it did.

Jimmy Olson, I am by far the biggest Ohio State Buckeyes fan but as least I try to stay to the facts. You have consistently demonstrated you are just a fanboy idiot.

The thing to bear in mind is the rating is for households, at least that's what it says in the USA Today breakdown.

From what I've been told by our sport TV guy, if you watched the game in a sports bar, you don't count in the ratings. Thereby, I and the 250+ people where I watched the game didn't count for anything.

So while 13.4 may seem low, it may be understating the case.
