You've pretty much described the difference for UT fans between Peyton Manning and Tee Martin.

Now you see, here's why I love Vegas bookies. Ohio State is No.1, and North Carolina is No.6, but the Heels are 8-point favorites in tomorrow's game at the Dean Dome. Who's everyone got, with or without the line.

I've got NC without, but OSU to cover.

I've cautiously got UNC. They're inside game should be too much for the Buckeyes. Then again, I'm obviously biased.

Speaking of OSU, the Buckeyes being voted No. 1 in the coaches' poll this week without Greg Oden and despite UCLA's remaining undefeated and winning the Maui Invitational is laughable.

Just reinforces my opinion that any and all polls are a joke.

    Gee ... you think?

And about DeMarcus ... he's been at Duke and knows what he's doing. Problem is, he had to play up front his freshman year. He's a fighter, but at 6-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, he was facing 6-9 and up constantly trying to get offensive rebounds and defending. That's a uphill battle, but his ability to take that for the team should always be remembered.

And Dre ... do you think for an instant that Mike Krzyzewski will be stupid enough to use up DeMarcus defensively on Hansbrough? Seriously.

I didn't much of the Indiana-Duke game, but the score didn't surprise me at all. Duke's very, very young and still learning. Any bets Kelvin Sampson is doing that same crappy, hard-contact football-on-hardwood crap he did at Oklahoma. To his advantage, it will keep his less-talented team in a lot of games and will be too much for finesse teams, but it's unwatchable and utter, utter crap. He has to make how many dozens of illegal recruiting calls to field that kind of crapfest on a consistent basis?

With every game this years Duke team will be getting better and better. Their preseason ranking was way to high considering everything that they lost. It was more than just the scoring and defense that Williams, Reddick and other grads provided it was LEADERSHIP. When they play they look really confused sometimes and they are basically winning on pure talent alone right now. Give them time and people will step up, especially the freshman Gerald Henderson he is gonna be special.

Surprisingly, I'm not here to post about KU. Just wanted to give some love to Wichita State, which has beaten two teams from last year's Final Four (George Mason, LSU) on the road already this season.

    Respect the MVC.

Take Ohio State and the 8 points. UNC may win, but they won't win by 9.

That Wichita team could be special this year. The Shockers were kind of building to make a real deep run this season.

You misinterpreted what I said. I said that Hansbrough would take it to McRoberts on offense while he wouldn't be able to score against Wright on defense. I never said Nelson would guard him. I'm just saying that I don't think UNC has anyone that can guard Nelson when they play Duke.

Also, I don't care who you root for, this UNC vs. OSU game is tons of fun to watch. Both teams should definitely score over 80 and could get up around 100.

Is the UNC-Ohio State game anything more than a high-school All-American game? With 60 combined points with 6:38 to play (but I just turned it on), apparently neither team knows how to play D.

Or, could it be, that both teams are very good offensively. The Buckeyes look really good. When they add Oden in January, they are going to be scary.
