    Hubris-ridden. Love it. Think there should be a contest for whoever can get that into a story.

    2 cents on the story:
    When you're going back and forth in time, be sure to make clear *when* something is happening.
    Easiest way to do this is to put the time at the beginning. Even use it as a subhead on a lengthier stories.
