100 best TV episodes of this century

This was a welcome surprise this morning. What's especially great is there is a clip from each episode.

One note on this, Shottie - it's this century, not history as your title says. (The list was pissing me off until I realized that.)

And, as much as I soured on LOST in general, the Desmond stuff was almost always top-notch, with the notable exception of the monk episode.

I think I prefer “Flashes Before Your Eyes” over “The Constant,” though.

They chose the wrong Louie episode ... the one where he goes to Afghanistan (and give a chick as a peace offering) could be top 3 on the list.

And the list failed overall by excluding something from Horace & Pete's.

It's like they're not even trying.

 

Just for Laurie Metcalf's opening 9-minute monologue alone.

 

And then the breakfast scene with the black trans. But start at the point they meet (26-minute mark):

"And that's why you shouldn't have breakfast."

 

Better list than I expected.

 

Pointless (but fun) to debate the rankings, but a more fundamental flaw: how do you not include The Shield in the list itself, the list of best pilots, or the list of best finales? Particularly given that they were only choosing a single episode from each show, and so easily should have been able to squeeze it in. It's terribly underrated.
