I don't care how it happens, but so long as it ends with Hardy wearing the strap, I'm with it.

I hope you're right. That match and the Hall of Fame ceremony is the only reason I'm going to Orlando. I've got to pay tribute to the greatest wrestler I've ever seen in his last match.

  3. Stop it. There is no way Orton keeps his title at WrestleMania.

Plus, WWE already cheapened the Royal Rumble this year by letting Cena challenge for the belt early, so I doubt they would let the MITB winner cheapen WrestleMania by cashing in and taking the strap after the main event.

Cena or Trips will win the belt, and the two biggest stars will feud for the first half of the year. Hardy is a good worker, but he got his push and will have to wait. He had a great match with Y2J on Monday.

Then you make it personal and not about the strap. And come on, how many thousands of feuds have come and gone that aren't "predictable"?

WM 24 card so far and other thoughts:

    Orton-Cena-HHH for title
    Edge-'Taker for title
    Flair-HBK
MITB (will it be 5 or 6 guys?): J. Hardy, Jericho, Kennedy, Benjamin and ? and ?
    Show-Mayweather
    Maria-Candace vs. Melina and Phoenix
JBL-Finlay (not official yet but after Raw last night, all but definite)

I assume they'd also have a battle royal just for the fans and the DVD and not the PPV audience, right?

    Other questions/my thoughts:
Will either of the tag titles be defended? (I think not)
Will the ECW title be defended? (I think Punk will be in MITB match and Chavo will be in a battle royal)
Will the U.S. title or the IC title be defended? (How about MVP-Matt Hardy for U.S. title? I think Jeff Hardy should drop IC title before Wrestlemania say to Kennedy as buildup for MITB)

  6. It's 8 like last year

  7. I don't think either tag title gets defended. Nobody cares about them and WWE doesn't give you any reason to care about them.

I agree with Punk in MITB. Maybe he can last till the end ::)

I think Matt Hardy returns just in time to challenge MVP for the title. They definitely need to get that feud going again.

Another thing, which I really don't care much about, why no women's title match? Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix. WWE gives the fans no reason to care about women's wrestling. At least TNA makes an effort with their division and Awesome Kong has attracted attention. Speaking of TNA Knockouts, WWE completely dropped the ball with ODB. She was the most over diva down in OVW, but never gave her the chance because she doesn't have that sexy look. Now she is the women's version of Stone Cold and people at the Orlando tapings are wearing her shirt, guys included.

As much as I hate to say it, he's right.

I don't understand why more titles aren't defended at WM. It's the biggest show of the year. A smart booker would position titles and feuds so all would culminate at that show. Instead, we get half-assed title defenses at something like Vengeance: Night of Champions.

TNA has botched more than its fair share of angles, but give them credit with their Knockout Division (along with the fact they do push the tag team divisions). Twice in the last few weeks, they had Kong as the main event. ODB is as over as anyone in that company right now. It's probably best that ODB is not in WWE; chances are they would have her in some stupid ass angle that would have forever cheapened her value.

That's true. The Knockout Division is unquestionably superior to WWE's Divas and the hottest item currently in TNA. Which, depending on how you look at it, could be seen as a good or bad thing.

I'd say it's good, with the notion that once they get their heads out of their asses (and recent shows indicate they just may be), it will make the product stronger. Granted, the WWE Divas do have some in-ring talent (Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, the underused Victoria), but most of them are just eye candy (not that there's nothing wrong with it) that are marginally talented when it comes to wrestling.

It is shameful how the tag divisions in WWE are reduced to mere footnotes. I do give credit to TNA for letting Tomko and Styles hold on to the belts for a significant period of time and giving legit title matches. The upside is that they do have teams like Team 3D, the Motor City Machine Guns, LAX and even Shark Boy and Christopher Daniels --- errr -- Curry Man to deliver challenges.
