I'm no advocate for running up the score, but I would've liked to see a convincing win against Central Michigan. I guess they can still make a last-ditch attempt against Slappy U this weekend ;)

One look at Courtney and the Ole Miss defenders would run away in fright.

Yes, Arkansas is doing just great without him. Ole Miss is on course for five more wins this season. Arkansas? Four fewer.

And, since we're into the who have they beaten concept, they beat the current No.4 in the BCS on the road, handing them their only loss of the season, and the No.18 team in the country this past week.

Central Michigan isn't a pushover team, though. I'm pretty sure they were preseason favorite to win the MAC (if they weren't, they were No. 2).

I know they're not. I had them ranked last week. I just would've liked a bigger win to feel a little more confident about ranking them as high as I have.

    Sorry...my "them" disambiguation.

    them 1, 2: Central Michigan
    them 3: Ball State

Dude, you can say whatever you want, and it's unlikely Ole Miss will appear as the SEC West's representitive in the SEC Championship game in the time he's there, because that's just what Ole Miss is.

What you cannot ignore is that he took Arkansas to the SEC title game two seasons ago before the Piggies decided eight wins a year and occasional contention in the West wasn't good enough, and that he's on course to improve the Rebels win total by five this season, while the team he left and its shiny new coach has four wins less.

I'm not saying Ole Miss is a great team, it's not. But they are a good team, and the reason for that is Houston Nutt.
