    I would first have to move USC to No. 1 (have had the Gators at 1 since mid-November). Also depends on what Texas does.

    Can't see moving USC up that much, though.

    usc was no. 1 in my poll. only way they drop is if someone goes nuts in the championship game.

    I had Texas at 1. USC was 3 or 4, so it would take a lot for me to jump them.

    And 13-0 Utah -- which beat Oregon State, which beat USC -- officially ends the Trojans' case for No. 1.

    At least in my book the Utes did.

    by that rationale ole miss is no. 1 no matter what happens right?

    Did Ole Miss run the table and go 13-0? Or did they lose four games?

    doesn't matter. ole miss holds the tie breaker with florida and oklahoma.
