Oklahoma played 10 bowl teams, beat nine, including TCU (35-10) and Cincy (52-26) in non-conference play. So I'm guessing they played a better-than-average schedule.

No, you can't take out Texas. That's silly. But Oklahoma State in a rout by halftime, and what turned out to be a good Nebraska team.

cinci got pounded in a bowl
tech proved to be a fraud
osu played one half of a bowl game
tcu barely beat a mountain west team in a bowl
missouri, kansas and nebraska are average at best

and they also played kansas state, texas a&m, UT chat and washington.


i'm just saying that oklahoma's schedule wasn't that fucking tough.

Instead of breaking into giggles at your hyperbole at the thought that the OU and USC skeds are remotely comparable, I'll say that you have two crutches upon which to base USC beating out OU: Results in bowl games. and the sense that you just know USC is extremely talented and proved such in all but one game. The first criterion really says nothing about USC or OU, since few of USC's foes made bowls. The second criterion? Highly subjective, but has a better chance of passing the smell test.

Tom, we know you don't like Oklahoma's schedule. You're not going to be persuaded otherwise, so I ask this -- if you don't like the Sooners' schedule, then what does that make USC's? I mean, that's the team you're vouching for, right? So what's the argument for USC based on the schedules, compared to Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Utah, etc.?

jesus christ. for the second time: i'm not the one mentioning SC. you and oz are. second, the point i'm making is oklahoma's schedule doesn't look nearly as tough as it did a month or a month and a half ago.
