I know I'm biased, but that's kinda harsh. One team played in a BCS bowl a year ago and lost at Webby U., which you ranked ... OK, you didn't rank them -- while the other is an chronic underachiever that lost at home to UNLV.

I'm not trying to call anyone out, as I know my picks have been questioned, but I don't understand hoe Arizona State gets anyone's vote for any spot. They had a 10 point lead with seven minutes left in the fourth quarter and lost in overtime to a team that beat Utah State by 10 and lost the week before to Utah, 42-21.

And there are plenty of 3-0 teams that deserved a spot at 24 or 25 rather than the Sun Devils.

USF, TCU and Oklahoma State are new, Arizona State, Cal, and Purdue are excused. And nobody did anything impressive enough to knock Fresno out of the rankings.

I have ASU at 24 as well. I still consider them a bit borderline, and probably could have found a couple more teams to put above them, but UNLV may not be that bad and the next few weeks will tell how good/bad ASU is anyway.
    Here's my top 5:
    USC
    LSU
    Mizzou
    Oklahoma
    Florida

Too bad Mizzou and Oklahoma aren't scheduled this year. I honestly don't know which team is better right now. I gave Mizzou the edge on Chase Daniel alone.
I don't see anyone that has enough to beat USC.

If I had not turned in my poll already, I may have eliminated Kansas from its already low spot, based on this latest fanboy ranting.

This year matters. Last year's BCS bowl means less than nothing now that three weeks of games have been played. If Kansas merits a solid spot in the teens, then they will play that way. If not, your degree from there will not sway the voters.
