I was referring solely to the 1-plus-minute epic match between Trips and HBK, which threatened to break up DX.

The Handsome one is right about Rude, but I must admit it's weird to think. Back then, Rude was a "smaller" guy among the Hogans, etc., of the world. He's comparable in size to Edge or Orton (a bit shorter), and Rude was/would be heavier than everyone holding a current singles belt except Kane.

EDIT: And Sheamus. My bad...I keep assuming Cena's the champ. Can ya blame me?

Agreed - In general, everyone has gotten smaller, but because everyone has gotten smaller, it makes it harder to get a sense of scale. Heck, back then, even Hogan seemed small at times because he was always going up against huge guys (Andre The Giant, King Kong Bundy, Yokozuna, Zeus, etc.).

heh, The original Fingerpoke of Doom. They asked Nash about him and Hogan doing in a shoot, and he said he still thinks it was a great idea - It worked for getting tons of heat on both of them, and honestly, who really wanted to see Nash vs. Hogan in an actual match? I kind of agree, but they picked a pretty poor time to do such a cheap finish.

    Announced for Raw tonight:

Orton vs. Jericho vs. Edge...winner faces Sheamus for the title at Summerslam

If you find a list of champions throughout the WWE, there's more rotation now than ever. Which kind of makes this whole show ridiculous. There's too many stars on RAW and not enough pies to go around.

They aren't going to "demote" one of the top-tier guys to SmackDown, though.

Well, if nothing else going into the last 20 minutes of tonight's Raw, we got a good luck at what a face Miz would look like.

The Nexus runs roughshod over the WWE for two months, and Cena recruits R-Truth and Khali to his team? I thought he wanted to STOP getting his ass kicked.
Oh, and R-Truth costing the Miz the title? Reason No. 1,256 to hate that guy.

    Super team, King? Really?
Three A-listers, a B-lister, a monosyllabic 7-foot-5 tree (which might be an insult to the intelligence of trees), an annoying rapper and a geriatric stroke victim qualifies as a "super team"? It's like if a meteor was hurtling toward earth and he'd dialed the number for the Justice League Cleveland.

Yeah, but when you strip Nexus of the mystique, you've got a rising star, a cruiserweight, a starfucker who couldn't hit a move without a GPS and four below-average guys. Plus you still need star power for the other matches (Sheamus-Orton, Kane-Undertaker, Harts-Usos, crappy broads matches).

Poor Smackdown. So lame that Nexus won't even bother attacking them.

Was it just me, or did Wade Barrett come incredibly close to killing Mark Henry by dropping him on his head?
