I've read the story that Wilson's dad always wanted him to play for the Yankees, but it isn't like he's a Make A Wish kid. And it isn't like Yanks are going to start selling more #3 jerseys because of him.

Wilson is a weird duck. Instagramming something about the 27 world championships and a dream come true. Dude you didn't have anything to do with that.

Russell Wilson spends his entire life saying the things he thinks people want him to say.

He seems like he might be almost as nice as he acts--he actually asked if he was speaking loud enough for reporters at a presser after a Jets game, as opposed to smilin' Pete Carroll, who just rapid fire low talked his way through the whole thing and said a bunch of nonsensical shit--but there's just something weird and off-putting about him.

I always chuckle at the language used for reporting on a guy like Lincecum, based on past accomplishments instead of who they are right now. He's a pitcher who hasn't had an ERA under 4.00 in seven years and carried an ERA over 9.00 two seasons ago. If anyone else with that resume was in contract negotiations, no one would be worrying about the "depth" of those talks, let alone be ready to hand their closer's job over to him.

Perhaps, but the resume is a part of the story and worth at least some consideration by the teams evaluating the player. It's unlikely that he bounces back, but not impossible for him to regain some value.

    OK.
I get why they lost Hosmer and Cain. You knew from jump street you couldn't keep them both and Moose.
There's the issue. Why have you not locked him up yet?
With each passing day that he's not locked up, it makes me more and more jumpy.
And I swear By God and Sonnie Jesus, if Bubba fucking Starling even touches the grass at the K this year, I will shit green apples.
Fast ball, he hit very far.
    Curve ball.........."Oh."
