Don't the fans with enough clout for NLCS tickets already HAVE their souvenir hats if they want one. And it kills me that all these cost estimates assume the fan will drink one and only one beer.

I don't know why anyone drinks beer at the ballpark at those prices. I stopped having a beer at events years ago. Just nuts. Absolute robbery and people line up to pay it without an issue. I won't do it anymore.

I go to game, I have a beer. I generally go to day games because I can’t get to Nats Park at night on a work night. It’s hot during the day and I have a beer. And might even have a 2nd one if the beer man comes around at the right time. There are nice beer options around the concourses. Pretzels, peanuts and hotdogs are a general must. When I’m with my wife and we come in brought the CF entrance we’ll walk into the team store. If my kids or wife wants a Nats t-shirt or hat, they get it. I don’t go often enough to make it a usual occurrence. The 3 times a year or so when we go is an occasion. We enjoy it. We are not going nuts and buying a jersey or bullpen jacket, but if I see a cool Homestead Grays hat or throwback Senators shirt, I’ll Treat myself.

I’m pretty sure I love the Nats as much as anyone, and I probably watch 130ish of the regular season games on TV.

But the drive up and down 95 from Fredericksburg has killed my desire to see a game in person, I’m sad to say.

How the hell did the 2013 Tigers not beat the Red Sox?

Up against a team for which everything broke its way from Opening Day until the Series parade. Happens.

Verlander vs. Scherzer in the World Series would be like a sharp stick repeatedly jabbed in the eye for those of us who have sat through 98, 98 and 114 losses over the past three seasons (and many more to come).

With the firing of Gabe Kapler, Bryce Harper will be playing for his 5th manager in 6 seasons.

Ask Hall of Fame manager Jim Leyland.

Soooo, is Ottavino planning to get anyone out in this series?

Somehow, the Yankees' defense is worse than their offense tonight. Yeesh, 4 errors.

I thought the Yankees only played Frank after wins? Liza's NY, NY would be played after losses.
