Drove past the stadium site on Feb. 26, the date of my first vaccine shot at Worcester State University. Let's just say I'll be more than mildly surprised if it opens on time. Then again, had to take a completely different route to the school for my second shot last Friday, indicating construction has now shut down a significant part of downtown Worcester. Progress, I guess.

After clicking through a couple of layers of that I discovered there is a subReddit for hobos, r/vagabond.

A would be hobo was killed last month in Cali when a train stopped short and he was crushed by a sliding boxcar door. It is against FRA rules to move a boxcar with open doors. Boxcars are a progressively smaller part of the US fleet in general.

Toronto closer Kirby Yates is likely headed or Tommy John surgery. Springer has an oblique strain, so he may not be ready for opening day. So much for the big offseason additions.

That said, Toronto should still be able to score plenty of runs even when Springer is out. Grichuk can replace him in the outfield, which opens up more at-bats at DH for Rowdy Tellez and catcher Alejandro Kirk.

I'm not sure how many have seen Kirk play yet. He looks like Josh Gad running the bases, but the kid can rake.

Who is behind Yates for closing duties?

If the Blue Jays didn’t know, it’s their own fault.

They haven't announced one, though Jordan Romano is likely to get the first shot. I'm not sure they will have just one guy closing games.

(Of course, I only answer this because somebody already grabbed Romano in our league. :))

That sound you heard yesterday around 5:15 p.m. Eastern was this Yates owner screaming and saying a bunch of naughty words.
