And, he walks in the bottom of the ninth, steals second, and scores on a single, getting in under the tag. Angels win 8-7.

Here's your pitching line of the night, for the Marlins' Pablo Lopez. He started the game, only threw one pitch, and took the loss against the Braves.
Lopez hit Ronald Acuna Jr. with the first pitch of the game and was ejected. Acuna came around to score, and the Braves wound up winning 1-0. Lopez gets charged with the run and, therefore, the loss as well.

If I were the Angels I'd work like hell over the winter trying to get the courtesy runner rule put in.

Can you imagine how big of a star Ohtani would’ve been in, say, 1993? He’d have owned the summer. Now he’s a blip on the sporting scene.

How about playing on the east coast? New York? Boston? Chicago? Miami?

LA is now a small market?

Nothing to do with market. Everything to do with most of your performances coming with 70 percent of the population asleep. And Anaheim isn’t LA. I don’t care what Arte Moreno says.

People on the East Coast are posting on FB that they didn't realize how special he really is until he played in N.Y.
It's a combination of what has been posted above, including the very real East Coast bias.
