Shocked there isn't a pot sponsor of this game, or in Coors.

I first thought that was a map of where Alonso's home runs landed.

Haven't been to Coors this year -- was supposed to go in mid-June, but then it hit 105 and we said nah -- so don't know what the in-stadium signage is like. But it looks like they've got every other sponsor in there. Wouldn't surprise me if there isn't any since the Monforts tend to run in conservative circles, but they also could never say no to a buck.

I’ve never howled more at a column that wasn’t supposed to be funny.

Every two sentences I’d just mumble “Oh no” and then cackle.

The five-second animation before his second at-bat, complete with a winking Babe Ruth, was a little much. But then again everything in the ASG is a little much.

We can’t complain baseball doesn’t showcase its best players and then complain when they showcase their best players.

The guy is an ace and will hit 55 home runs. Make as many graphics as you want.

In 1993 he’d have had a religion named after him.

The way they're going, they'll do that by the fifth inning tonight.

Soooo ... how about that Nike "Tomorrow" commercial, huh?
Not sure a commercial has ever made me both laugh ("the WNBA will surpass the NBA in popularity") and want to throw a brick through the screen in a span of 5 seconds ("We will respect athletes' mental health" and the obligatory LeBron worship) like that one did.
