Play-in starts with the East on Tuesday: Hornets-Pacers at 6:30 ET, Wizards-Celtics at 9. Both on TNT.

West on Wednesday on the WWL: Spurs-Grizzlies at 4:30, Warriors-Lakers at 7.

After that, who knows with this funky format.

Suns have their best season in a decade and their reward will almost certainly be a first-round series with the Lakers. Ugh.

With LeBron hobbled and having to trade blows with the Warriors, the Suns may have a better chance than normal. Either way, Suns have to deal with a team that should have been a 3 seed or deal with Steph who is pulling of what LeBron used to with the Cavs.

Assuming the loser Downs the 9/10 winner, the top two seeds in the West are really in for it in round 1. I’d much rather be in Denver’s position to kick things off.

Agree with this - I think this helps the Suns. If the Warriors somehow win, I don't think they have the firepower to win a playoff series. If the Lakers win, I think you'd rather get them now, vs. later in the playoffs. Go at LeBron hard on both ends - make him play defense 48 minutes. He's not in his 20s anymore.

LeAnkle left last night's game, right?

There's just a vibe around this edition of the Lakers that makes me think a quick postseason exit is in the cards.

I just have years of scars from previous Suns-Lakers series. Thanks for putting my mind at ease a bit.

I get it, Cosmo. I like the Suns' chances, but I'd always be worried about James suddenly wobbling his way through multiple triple-doubles

Tatum is doing more damage to Washington than Trump.

I like Hannah storm doing the halftime of the espn play in games.
Lends some gravitas to the event. I think espn's regular crew is terrible.
