Same here, or legitimately messed up his shoulder. He landed really awkwardly.
Goldberg had another botch as well, on one of the chop blocks. He didn't flip all the way over and landed on his head. They called it out during the match. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he had some sort of concussion from that.

 

That would be Goldberg's third self-inflicted concussion since his comeback.

No critiquing Cena here -- dude is clutch and lives up to "Big Match Cena" well.

Now, does Paul double-cross Roman, like he did to Brock back in the day?

 

Watching Heyman shit himself was great. We’ll get Roman questioning whose side he’s on, and Heyman trying to play both sides off.

 

I think this solidifies Big E going to Raw sometime soon. SD's going to be all about Brock and Roman now, and Big E has no place in any of it -- unless they REALLY draw out the cash-in, like they did when Dolph had it.

Now, for tomorrow's Takeover -- I think it's a sign of what they see is the new future for NXT. Ciampa and Gargano (the two guys who were once seen as the linchpins for the brand) are both healthy, and neither are on the card.

 

I dont have any problem with the Becky thing. Huge pop. Great surprise. “I wasnt ready” sets up 3-4 PPV matches going forward. “A squash” who cares, its a work brother.

this was a really good PPV because besides that Goldberg mess they were all clean finishes, no bullshit. I think Edge/Rollins was probably the best match, Cena/Reigns close second

 

They generally have a limited card for Takeovers, like 5 or 6 matches, so there’s only so much room. Gargano is involved in the InDex love story, and Ciampa is tagging with Thatcher. Just not enough room for them on the PPV.

 

Thinking now about last night, it seeems like they kinda had to have Becky do something physical because they also had Brock returning. It’d look silly to have both returnees come out, stare down the champs and leave.

But there was so much they could have done differently, even if Becky isn’t up yet to doing a match. Have Carmella get in the way to cause a DQ, then have Becky and Bianca hit their finishers on them, then do the stare down with each other. Problem solved.

 

It appears you can only get the Cena Mario 3 shirt if you buy this $1000 NFT box. That blows. They’ve only sold 40 so far, not sure how fast those things usually sell out but that seems slow

 

I can think of Daniel Bryan as a guy who "recovered" from this kind of booking, but not many others are coming to mind. And he was playing a much different character than Bianca. As Baron points out, there were plenty of ways to do this without jobbing out your younger champion in 30 seconds. Heck, Becky doesn't even need the belt. There was money in the chase.
