Thanks. I always convince myself it's not like Paul, until I find out it is.

That's what I'm wondering. I would think this is the sort of job that he might be able to take because it's a little off the radar as P5 jobs go. Plus I don't know how much Kendal really had to do with that shit at Baylor.

Dorrell will receive about 17 million dollars for two and a half years of work. I would coach in Starkville for that kind of money.

Wrong. Great pro football state. Very good MLB state. The Rockies always draw in the top third of MLB despite generally having a bottom third team.

The university suffers from being dwarfed in interest by the Broncos. Another problem is that may in the local community would prefer to take advantage of the numerous local micro breweries or pot shops to sit around and get high while watching a sunset over the Rockies than watching a college football game. Life is about priorities.

I was talking about the school, not the state. They've had some good hoops squads over the year - but I've never known their fan base to be that enthusiastic. It's too bad, they have one of the best mascots in college sports.

I see your point. Though I don't think interests in beer, marijuana and Rocky Mountain sunsets are necessarily bad things.

It should be. He shouldn’t coach again.

Not talking about Art Briles, fuck that guy. It's his son Kendal, the current OC at Arkansas.

Sean Lewis has built a competitive program at Kent State and played at Wisconsin. Not sure his super up tempo offense fits the Badger DNA.

Depends. I find it hard to believe he wouldn’t have known at least some of what his dad knew, which to me makes him culpable. It would need to be an absolutely thorough vetting if I were the AD, at the bare minimum.

Logan would be a home run for CU…….within a 100 mile radius of Denver.
I’ve listened to and followed Logan for years. He’s great on the air and obviously great on the high school sidelines…..all of which have been in Denver.
The scope has to be bigger than Lodo though.

Wisconsin tends to look at the success of the football program at two levels. Do they win 9 or 10 in the weak Big Ten West?

Just as important, how are the corners of Camp Randall looking? Are the stands full or empty? The corners are always the litmus test.

The corners have been empty all year and the 2-3 start won't help that. What has happened, since the pandemic, is that the games just aren't fun to go to. I went to two games last year and, frankly, they were boring as hell. Not just that but getting to a game in Madison is a pain in the ass because the city is an isthmus with no land and no parking. Unless you're planning to spend all day getting sauced up on State Street or Regent Street, it takes real effort.
