Reports are a woman was also killed, but Jay's daughter was a passenger and is critical. They were reportedly coming back from a cheerleading competition.

As a dad, this is heart wrenching. Prayers to the family, but especially that poor girl.

While there hasn't been a direct statement from WWE on social media, the company has still shown a lot of class via Trips and HBK, and they've retweeted a lot of the WWE stars' messages.

Word is both of Briscoe’s daughters were in the car. One is pretty seriously hurt — paralyzed or worse. The other is reportedly stable.

Dammit. It's SO simple to wear a seatbelt. While we don't know if it would've saved Jay's life, it could have certainly helped.

It's the same thing as the Georgia football player who died while not wearing his seatbelt.

Shelton Benjamin and Matt Camp spent a little time addressing Jay on The Bump today, which was nice.

But on a different note, as they celebrated Shelton's 20 years in WWE, they brought up this dark match I never knew existed. An OVW tag title match before a Raw, featuring three future Hall of Famers -- and Rico Constantino.

Not sure if it was a network mandate against it, but surprised not to see more than a graphic for Jay before Dynamite.

Tony had said before that it wasn't his choice not to have the Briscoes appear on AEW TV following the ROH purchase.

Takes a lot of stone for Roman to bump around wearing his Apple Watch I’d be scared to break the damn thing

In the past week, Impact has brought in Santino Marella, Ernest Miller and now BARRY FREAKIN' HOROWITZ.

With a week to go, trying to figure some of the surprises for the Rumble matches.

For the men: the first one is Rock, but that seems to be growing doubtful, especially now since they changed that Bloodline acknowledgement ceremony for Raw into a trial for Sami.

Otherwise, some surprises we could possibly see: Logan Paul (if his knee is up to snuff), Zack Ryder/Matt Cardona (especially since his wife is back in the good graces), Sean Waltman (he's in his best shape in years, and his buds are firmly in charge), Muta (he did a cameo in AEW as part of his retirement tour, and he's got history with Nakamura), Pat McAfee (with football done, it would be his return to WWE)

    For the women:

I'm thinking we'll see Naomi's return, unless they bring her back Monday to tie her into the Bloodline/Judgment tag to neutralize Rhea. We'll probably see the aforementioned Chelsea Green. Otherwise, I can't really see anything out of the ordinary, other than some NXT talents and retuning legends.

Rumble feels really unpredictable, especially with the rumors theyd consider stripping Reigns of the Raw belt. Then the winner doensnt have to challenge Reigns so it could really be anyone

i dont see how they weaken the Reigns character by having him cucked by someone as weak as Adam Pearce for seemingly no reason but the rumors are everywhere now
