Yeah, that was bad. I kept expecting someone new to come out.

I don't know about that, but I do think she's one of the hottest things to hit Raw since the last time Kane lit off his ringpost pyro.

Barring some shocker in the main, which wouldn't really make sense (Bron Breakker isn't going to insert himself into the Bloodline drama), we get one return/debut and it was Riddle.

    Woo.

Not only that, but it looks like this is his first match on Raw since 2002, and only his second non-PPV TV match since 2004 (the other being the quick win against Kofi for the title on Smackdown in 2019).
His last Raw match was a singapore cane match against Tommy Dreamer in July 2002.

    And those streaks may continue.

Looks like I was right. I get a gold star and a cookie.

Imagine that Vince and Trips brought Cody back to the E, promised him the world, put him right on the cusp of everything he wanted, and it was just a ruse to flatten him for ever trying to threaten the WWE.

I feel like Raw after Manias been pretty dead since prime NXT, COVID and Friday Smackdowns. The crowds arent as punch drunk crazy and there arent any debuts or callups

Its been shaky for 3-4 years it feels like

    1) His dad was famous for being more about the chase than actually winning.
    2) Sucks he lost at Wrestlemania, but he got a main event payday and rub out of it, which cements him as a top star no matter what.
    3) Now he segues into a blood feud with one of the biggest draws the company has.

I think Cody's gonna be just fine.

Yeah, the first few years of the Raw after Mania were insane. Now it just seems like they try too hard to promote it as such.
