    Yes, and now 3-0.

Like they finally got unleashed and are being allowed to play some offense.

The ever-popular Binnington surpasses Mike Liut in all-time STL goaltending victories if the Blues win tonight.
The guy he recently passed for second-place, Jake Allen, is Jersey's back-up tonight.
    Mike Liut is Binnington's agent.

This is how Brayden Point completed his hat trick last night.

Caps somehow rallied to win after this.

@ChrisLong John Gibson looked solid last night — certainly good enough to stonewall the Kraken with 42 saves.

Anaheim had weird looking uniforms, though. Must have been one of tho$e alternate$.

No, those are their new uniforms. They have rebranded this season, adopting "Orange Country" as their slogan. The road unis are pretty good. The home ones are all orange and can be a bit overbearing. Orange lids are odd. I guess I'm used to them finally, but when you see them for the first time, it can be pretty alarming. Funny one, when they were in NY playing the Rangers, the referee announced a penalty against Philadelphia.

Gibby has been great since his return (he had an emergency appendectomy before training camp). He is 4-0-1 with strong save% and GAA numbers. Last night was his busiest with the Kraken putting a lot of shots on him late when there was a double minor penalty and they pulled the goalie for a two-man advantage against a two-goal deficit. Two Ducks (Jensen Harkins and Ross Johnston) went after Ty Kartye to get him for what he did in Monday's game in Anaheim. Kartye drove young Ducks star Leo Carlsson into the goalpost. Carlsson went ribs-first into the post and also banged his head on the ice when he landed. He didn't return Monday and didn't play last night -- guessing a concussion. Gibson's only loss was in OT vs. Buffalo. It ended when the Ducks got confused and gave up a 2-on-0 breakaway. He made a sprawling save on the rush, but the rebound went past the backcheckers and the Sabres third man had an open net with Gibson down on the ice.

The Ducks are .500 despite not scoring and shaky defense. All the credit goes to goalies Lukas Dostal and Gibson. They have been phenomenal.
