Way things are starting to go for Pittsburgh, the Sharks might have a good chance against the Penguins.

Columbus 3, Edmonton 0 after one.
More importantly, McDavid out rest of the night with lower body injury.

Might have hit rut, then went feet first into the boards. Did not need assistance off the ice.

Watching the Caps-Rangers on ESPN ... not sure if this is a staple of their broadcasts, but the announcers took a minute to just stop talking, giving you a real feel for what the game sounds like with just the crowd and the sounds on the ice. Loved it.

EDIT: To add that this was a very entertaining hockey game for October. Cannot argue with the moves McClellan made in the offseason trying to change things around the margins while still allowing Ovechkin to pursue the record.

Yeah I’ve seen that on some of the ESPN Plus exclusive games.

This is great. The Carolina Hurricanes plane broke down before a trip from Seattle to Vancouver, so they were forced into a two-hour bus trip. The team was supposed to get a meal on the plane, but after the malfunction, they found themselves on a bus without anything to eat. So Brent Burns took matters into his own hands. He went on the McDonald's app and ordered food for all of his teammates, but when they reached the restaurant, the walk-in option was closed. Burns tried to walk through the drive-thru to collect his massive order, but he was told he needed a car to pick up the food. So Burns knocked on a random driver's window to pick up 100 cheeseburgers.

    Memo to Doug Armstrong:
    Trade Jordan Kyrou right now!
But you can't because of the stupid money you gave him.
