Wow. old_tony has moved into Mark2010 territory.

There were people here, respected people, who swore he was a good guy.
If calling a grandstander a grandstander makes me an asshole ...

I'm sorry about what happened to Chris Martinez. Blaming people who had nothing to do with it seems pretty silly. And insisting that the rights of law-abiding people should be infringed is even sillier.

But to repeat (and I don't care how unpopular of an opinion it is) Mr. Martinez is not grieving, he's grandstanding.

Who the fork are you to declare that parent who just lost his child to murder is "not grieving"? How could you even know? Holy christ, what a repugnant statement.

It's weird, at the beginning of the thread tony raged in the mistaken belief that the guy speaking was the killer's dad. Then he apologized. Then he decided, naw, fork it, that guy and his grief can go shirt in a hat.

You are a god damn piece of shirt that I would love to run into one day.

I'm sure you meant that you'd love to buy me a drink.
Is this where you try to get someone fired Napolean?

You're posting like you've had a few. Log off. Take a few days. It's a message board.

Let's put it this way: For your own safety, do not get between him and a microphone.

Do you think that's how people grieve? No one I've ever seen grieves that way.

I understand that's not a popular opinion. But no one has been able to honestly say that he's not grandstanding. Everyone's argument seems to be "How dare you?" That's not an argument.

If you guys look at Kincannon's Twitter feed, you'll know where tony is getting his inspiration as a hateful, horrible troll.

Somewhere in heck, Sen. Robert Byrd (D-KKK) is bitching that they let Maya Angelou in.

JC wasn't brave enough to do it in public so he cowardly went to the PM route to be a complete asshole and say how tough he'd be if he ever ran into me.

Again, ask him if he'd rather be up there "grandstanding" as you put it with his son dead or home living an anonymous life with his son alive and well?

I don't doubt he wishes his son was still alive. But in the five days since it happened, Mr. Martinez has been seeking out every camera he could find to blame people who had nothing to do with his son's tragic death. In that time, we've hardly heard from him about how good of a person his son was and why the world is a lesser place with him gone. The story I was just reading had to quote old roommates to actually give me a picture of what a good kid he was. I mean, geez, on the very first night he said for about a split-second that Chris was a great kid, then spent the next 40 seconds blaming people who had nothing to do with it, including the obligatory shot at the NRA. I can understand that it was fresh and he was in shock. But over the next four to five days, he has done nothing but blame, blame, blame everyone except the loser punk who actually did it.

He's made almost all of the follow-up coverage about himself. Does anyone even know the names of the other five victims? Tonight I actually had to go looking for information on them to actually find out they were something other than "the other five."

Ladies and Gents I give you Todd Kincannon, former chair of the South Carolina Republican Party on gun rights ...

"fork him. He is a piece of shirt. His tragedy sucks, but he blamed me for it and wants to take away my rights. The guy is trying to take away my rights to protect my family. fork him every day of the week and twice on Sunday."
...
"No idea how my son will die, but I know it won't be cowering like a bench at UC Santa Barbara. Any son of mine would have been shooting back."
Dear NRA and Its Apologists:
This is your guy. This is the person you embrace. Pucker up.
I'll take a guy unwavering in his Constitutional convictions over a guy who stands on top of his son's dead body for political gain ... Every. forking. Day.

You will support a complete lowlife over a grieving father fighting back in memory of his son because the lowlife is part of the political party you cheer for. Once again proving that you are a political fanboy and nothing more.

I really shouldn't be surprised by this. None of us should given your posting history. That said, you've sunk so low this time that I am actually embarrassed for you.
And I really shouldn't be surprised that you like a guy standing on his dead kid's body for politics. If you're "embarrassed for" me, that's all the evidence I need to know I'm on the right track.

Difference is I'm not motivated by politics. That is ALL that motivates you. You don't care how horrible a person is or what awful thing he or she does as long as he bows to your beloved GOP. Anybody who pays attention here already knew that, but you have proven it beyond a shadow of a doubt with this latest disgrace.

I'm not standing on a dead kid's body, but you damn sure are pissing on it by supporting that piece of garbage from South Carolina.

Aside from that, I do hope the moderators address your blatant disregard for board policy by publicly sharing the contents of a private message and give you the time you a time out. Not just because I am sick of reading your crap, but because you really do need the time to take a good look at yourself. You are that far in the wrong this time and the sad part is you still don't even seem to realize it.
