A soon-to-be-running NBA Draft Thread

If I were David Stern, I'd smoke a big fat bowl before the draft.  Every year.

Can you imagine being in the same building as Stephen A. Smith, drunken Knicks fans and Dick Vitale?

I go in there sober, and I'm chewing on a gun barrel in under 10 minutes.

 

"Russ, you're the man."

"We'll miss you Russ."

Uhh, did David Stern make those signs and give them to people in convenient camera positions?

 

I'm a suffering Gamecock fan, too, and am thrilled to see one of ours go in Round 1. But this pick really has me scratching my head. When he was into the game, he was very good, and I loved his hustle. But he had a real problem with showing up. He was incredible against Bama on the road -- 28pts, 16rebs -- then put in six points and snagged two boards at home against Kentucky the next game. Maybe now that he's playing for pay he'll keep his head in the game. But I am shocked. Floored. Wow. I loved watching Ro play, and I think he could be a quality pro. But my God, is Isiah really this stupid?

 

Either that or Russ' family is in the crowd.

I hate to think this way, but why couldn't Dick Vitale and Screamin A. Smith have had the brain aneurysm instead of Peter Gammons?

 

I think he's related to Noel Gallagher with those eyebrows.

 

Why are the Blazers getting killed for getting Aldredge and Roy?

I don't think giving up Telfair is any big deal.
