    I'm curious if anyone here works for / has worked for Advance, particularly at its smaller papers. I'd like to know your impressions of the company, how much corporate gets involved at the local level, whether you saw people get the chance to move up in the company, etc.

    Don't know about the smaller papers, but I've never heard anyone say anything bad about working for the larger papers. It's a solid company as far as I know.
