I approve of this new champion.

And she's a pretty good player too — not guessing when she doesn't know the answer.

That's one of the biggest differences from the older shows to the current day. Players now are generally smarter about not making dumb guesses, especially when there is no buzzer pressure.

I think it's something they took from Ken, but there's only one Ken.

He would buzz in and not immediately answer because he knew the answer was somewhere in his gray matter and he could use the few seconds to dig it up. These contestants may be trying the same, but their cranial archives are lacking.

I don't think she did on the previous night, either, when she got her fourth win. She also had some luck in finding the DDs, which always helps.

Also, I believe they film five episodes a day, so contestants need to bring a full suitcase in case they run off a streak of wins.
