For the first time in 15 years, I have no vested interest in big boy circ contest results. Happy to be in the online world, but I looked forward to judgment day.

Can we keep the side discussions to a minimum please - it has all been discussed before - so those who actually care about the results don't have to wade through 25 posts to get to a list? We thank you.

APSE site is posting results. SF's grabbing them.

Well, just so everybody's on this train.

I posted the first ones because I saw them, and if I see any more in next few hours, I can do that too. I have some divisions I'm personally interested in, so will be looking.

But I'm also off on Tuesday, so I suggest anybody who comes across results posts them here, checking to make sure somebody else didn't already do it.

    That's my thinking.

(If there's any question, I am NOT in Orlando and NOT at the judging.)

Good to see 1HP continue to play up. Wish others would.
Special sections: No Orlando. No Palm Beach Post. No Sun Sentinel. Heaven forbid, does this mean the end of the vaunted football tabs? One can only hope. Was never a fan, even though I sat in on four years' of planning meetings and suggested one of the themes. They're all forced. Forced headlines, forced photo shoots, forced nonsense. OK, back to the contest.

  10. Noticed the APSE site was really slow, I managed to get through, so I thought I'd help out:

    Well, that's contest related.

I participated in many, many special sections over the years. I can't remember the last mega-section I read the whole thing.

I've always thought the best sections were "event" sections (even though I won a Top 10 for a legend's retirement section. ... Hell, we should have. I/we spent 3 months working on it.).
But I hated those football tabs. I hated doing them. I hated planning for them ... in March. I hated setting up the contrived cover photos for them. I hated reading 175 headlines with some play on the main theme. I hated everything about them.
